Catering Assistant

ASA Recruitment are looking for Catering Assistant’s for a number of schools based in West Edinburgh.

As a Catering Assistant you will assist the chef with the preparation of the food and ensure that the kitchen and dining area is kept to a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness.

In order to be eligible to work with us as a Catering Assistant you must have the following;
*At least 6 month experience within a similar role (handling food)
*A full PVG (vulnerable adults and children) and willing to update this with ASA (If you do not have a PVG disclosure you can apply for one via ASA Recruit for the cost of £59.00. Alternatively you can update your existing PVG for £18.00)
*Two references (at least one that is relevant to the job role)
*Be available to start work on 15th August 2019 (beginning of term)
*Be able to access schools in Edinburgh West postcodes including; EH4, EH11, EH12, EH30
