Do you thrive on ensuring project success through careful organisation and support?

Join our team as a dynamic Project Support Officer for the next 6 months, with a potential extension up to 23 months.

In this hybrid role, based in Glasgow, you will play a key role in providing essential administrative and coordination support to facilitate the seamless execution of diverse projects.

Description:
· Support project testing contributions, ensuring technical language is translated into “plain English.”
· Collaborate with the SIT team for end-to-end project delivery, from procurement through testing to final delivery.
· Develop, produce, and manage project-related communications.
· Lead scheduling and management of meetings, including notes/minutes in complex environments.
· Ensure key stakeholders are fully briefed on project activities, leading the development of key messages.
· Provide support to Senior Project Managers and the SIT team to deliver smart projects aligned with goals.
· Work within a PMO environment to support Project Managers with essential documentation.
· Ensure compliance with Digital Scotland Service Standards, managing testing documentation.

Essential criteria:
· Develop, produce, and manage project testing related communications activities, as well as support for internal and external communications as required, working with Communications leads to ensure consistency with CTITU approach.
· Ensure that key stakeholders are fully aware of and briefed on all testing project related activities, including leading on developing key messages and narrative.
· Experienced supporting project delivery, through UAT & OAC including development, management and maintenance of all testing and project documentation.
· Experience of writing communications for internal and external audiences with high quality English.
· Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and the ability to facilitate and support meetings, including secretariat duties.
· Ability to identify and resolve issues or understand when to escalate for resolution at senior level.
· Excellent organisational and administration skills in MS Project, excel, word, Visio etc and with a can-do attitude.
· Experienced in waterfall (Pince 2) and Agile methodologies.

BPSS clearance is required.
