Description

An exceptional opportunity is available for a UAT Analyst to join a transformative programme led by a significant institution focused on improving corporate shared services. This role plays a pivotal part in driving the successful implementation of an advanced enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution. The initiative involves substantial investment in technology to elevate efficiency and performance across diverse operational domains.

The role is available as an initial contract of 7 months and is inside IR35. The role is based in Edinburgh but can be predominantly WFH with occasional travel across Scotland.

The Role:
As a UAT Analyst (Finance), you will be instrumental in overseeing the User Acceptance Testing phase of an ERP solution, with a specific emphasis on finance-related components. Working closely with stakeholders, your responsibilities will encompass crafting comprehensive test scenarios, scripts, and data. Your goal is to ensure meticulous testing aligned with business requirements and the Programme’s Test Strategy. Additionally, you will actively participate in UAT execution, daily reporting, and rigorous defect tracking using Jira.

Responsibilities:
· Collaborate closely with SMEs and end users to develop detailed UAT test scenarios, scripts, and data, ensuring alignment with business requirements and the Programme’s Test Strategy.
· Facilitate the review and obtain sign-off for test deliverables from relevant stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
· Actively support UAT execution and coordination, working closely with end users to ensure a smooth testing process.
· Provide daily status reports to the UAT Test Lead (Finance) and maintain meticulous tracking and reporting of UAT defects using Jira.

Requirements:
· Proven experience in Oracle Cloud testing, particularly in Oracle Financials (Procure To Pay, Order To Cash, Record To Report & EPM/Reporting) or related Oracle Financial Modules.
· Proficiency in creating and executing test scenarios within the Oracle Cloud environment.
· Strong ability to derive test scenarios and scripts from business process requirements.
· Track record in effectively managing and resolving defects identified during end-user testing.
· Exceptional teamwork and coordination skills to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
