Description

We are seeking a Senior Corporate Communications Officer to play a pivotal role in a prominent public sector organisation’s digital transformation journey. This dynamic opportunity involves spearheading impactful corporate communications and stakeholder engagement initiatives, driving vital IT transformation programmes.

The role primarily embraces remote work, offering flexibility with occasional visits to the offices in Glasgow or Edinburgh. It’s a contract position, initially for 6 months and falls under IR35 regulations, requiring the candidate to be based in the UK.

The Role:
As the Senior Corporate Communications Officer, you’ll lead strategic communications and engagement efforts that fuel the organisation’s digital evolution. Collaborating closely with Communications leadership, you’ll craft engagement strategies aligned with the organisation’s digital goals. As a Communications Business Partner for key transformation programmes, you’ll orchestrate compelling communications, aligning strategies across various corporate change projects. Your role includes championing stakeholder engagement, fostering unified collaboration across initiatives engaging similar groups. Representing Corporate Communications on project teams and boards, you’ll drive effective communication strategies and generate captivating content in line with communication strategy objectives.

Requirements:
* Demonstrated expertise in managing stakeholder communications for projects.
* Proven track record in devising, executing, and evaluating impactful communication and engagement campaigns.
* Background in strategic communications, internal communications, or marketing, ideally supported by relevant university education.
* Strong analytical skills, adept at assessing communication strategy’s effectiveness and making necessary adjustments.
* Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, aligning communication initiatives with organisational objectives.
* Familiarity with digital tools and platforms used in corporate communications and stakeholder engagement.

Package on Offer:
* Initial 6-month contract with potential extension.
