Software Developer

Description

Here at ASA we are looking for a experienced Software Developer who has strong experience in commercial AWS development.

The role
You will be part of a multi-functional team with a strong agile and collaborative culture. We are currently developing new AWS-native registers and also support a number of existing ones.

Responsibilities
· Provide development of ongoing enhancements
· Provide development of new features and improvements
· Provide knowledge share, code overviews and written playbooks
· Extend and sustain the high quality support procedures, dashboards, monitoring and deployment capabilities to ensure the team can continue to improve services

Requirements
· Significant commercial experience with the following technology
o AWS (CDK, Lambda, S3, API gateway, Cloud Formation etc. )
o Typescript
o Modern JavaScript UI frameworks, including React
o HTML/CSS skills and an awareness of accessibility considerations
· Experience working in a collaborative team
· Ability to engage with stakeholders, understanding context and requirements
· Formal XP Engineering techniques

Package
· 6 month contract
· Hybrid in Edinburgh or Glasgow
· Immediate start date
