Software Test Engineer

Description

ASA are looking for an experienced Test Developer who has strong commercial experience of modern web applications.

The role
You will provide the development of ongoing enhancements and support, development of new features and improvements and provide knowledge share, code overviews and written playbooks.

Responsibilities
· Drive effort on bespoke test automation’s solutions
· Perform manual testing when necessary
· Actively participate in all team events and leading where specialist knowledge is required
· Coach and mentor other team members

Requirements
· Experience of the following:
o REST APIs
o AWS
o Cypress
o Linux
o Docker
o Modern JavaScript UI frameworks, including React
o Modern DevOps and CI/CD practices
o Exploratory and accessibility testing
· Experience building and maintaining test automation’s
· Developing within GDS or Digital First quality standards
· Using test tools for unit testing
· Working in Agile models

Package
· Hybrid in Glasgow or Edinburgh
· 6 month contract
· Immediate start date
