Support Worker

Description

ASA Recruitment we are looking for kind and compassionate individuals to join our Support Worker team to provide high quality care across Edinburgh including opportunities within Complex Care and Forensic Care.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following:
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Confident and outgoing
· Good organisational skills
· Team player
· Good timekeeping
· UK work experience

Your key responsibilities will include
· Providing excellent care and support to service users.
· Ensuring high standards are always maintained.
· Assisting service users in all aspects of their care needs.
· Administering medication as instructed.
· Monitoring, responding, and reporting appropriately on the wellbeing of the service users and able to respond in a timely manner to any concerns.
· Maintaining good communication and developing effective working relationships with other team members.

What We Can Offer a Support Worker
· Ongoing 36 hour contract or if flexibility is your thing then your choice of bank shifts to fit around your availability.
· Weekly pay
· 33 days holiday per year.
· Mandatory training free of charge to help assist your development and quality of skills within the care sector
· We offer full support 7 days a week with our Consultants including on call service to ensure we are always around to help you
· Refer a friend scheme, £250 in love2shop vouchers for each worker you refer to ASA.
