Finance Director

Description

Based in Edinburgh this role is a Board Appointment within an established, independently owned and well respected recruitment organisation.

Working closely with the Managing Director and Senior Executive team you will oversee all financial leadership, analysis of new business and existing business, report on financial performance of each part of the group.

Key responsibilities:

• Financial leadership of the Company, including the provision of robust and meaningful financial data to the Board
• Analysis of new business opportunities, advising on commercial contracts and pricing.
• Management of cash, working capital requirements and cash flow forecasting
• Ensuring the suppliers are paid timeously
• Presentation of high-quality management accounts and other management information on a monthly and ad hoc basis as required
• Leading the annual Budget process with quarterly forecast updates to support business objectives
• Leading, managing and developing the finance function
• Preparation of annual Financial Statements for audit purposes
• Oversight and development of robust financial controls and processes
• All aspects of banking, treasury and managing the relationship with the bank
• Corporation Tax calculations and Overseeing VAT and payroll compliance
• Maintenance and development of finance and accounting systems as well as other business critical systems
• The delivery of ad hoc projects within finance, operations and IT

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (CA, CIMA or ACCA)
• Senior finance leadership within a dynamic organisation
• Strong commercial expertise

Full-time, Permanent
