LGV Mechanic

Are you an experienced LGV mechanic, who takes pride in ensuring that you carry out your role to the highest quality standards?

If so, then we would like to speak to you about an exciting opportunity which has arisen within the Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance Department of one of our public funded clients.

Initially scheduled to last six months – with a high probability of extension for the right candidate – based in the Greater Glasgow area, this role requires a proactively minded individual who is confident working alone to ensure the safe and effective operation of all vehicles in the fleet.

In this role you will:

· Carry out proactive maintenance on HGV and LGV”s.
. To carry out in depth fault finding diagnostics and repair.
· To liaise with internal departments to ensure accurate reporting and resolution of any faults or malfunctions.
· Record and maintain accurate record of any vehicle in which a fault is found.

This role Offers a Stable Public Sector role that’s Monday to Friday In a long term assignment with high chance of extension.
