Internal Communications Senior Events Manager

Are you a Senior Events Manager looking for a new opportunity?

ASA Recruitment are working with a well-known Public Sector body to recruit a Senior Events Manager.

As the Senior Event Manager you will work on events that are being designed to provide a platform for two way communication between employees and senior leadership, including as a means of employee recognition and learning and development.

As the Senior Events Manager you will:
· Work with the Event Strategic Director to outline the overall goals and objectives, while managing the event brief and plan
· Create the event agenda and desired outcomes for each event session
· Coordinate activity and lead events team, including any external suppliers
· Establish, coordinate and manage event design group to help with event content
· Assist with the sourcing key note speakers and MCs
· Communicate with staff networks to ensure representation
· Liaise with colleagues from Intranet and Digital Accessibility teams to ensure events are fully inclusive and accessible
· Manage all aspects of the budget
· Evaluate the success of the event

Successful candidates for this Senior Events Manager role will need:
· Experience in strategic communications with strong ability to plan and deliver large-scale digital staff engagement events
· Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
· Experience of managing budgets
· Ability to use data to asses, measure and evaluate projects
· A Basic Disclosure Scotland
