Head of Data

Description

ASA Recruitment’s public-sector client is looking to onboard Head of Data to join an evolving Programme to set up new data services. As the postholder you will be an experienced data practitioner and leader to set the direction, strategy and vison for a large service area, covering four vital data terms.

Main Duties include but are not limited to:
· Successfully deliver a portfolio of data services to meet the user and business needs
· Grow and support positive organisational data cultures
· Own and help to design the service design strategy for data
· Effectively communicate with suppliers, stakeholders, senior manager and others to make sure they have everything they need
· Ensure the data services are user-centred
· Resolve any issues and challenges that arise in delivery, working with all teams to address them
· Provide product leadership, direction, support, management, coaching and development for the Product Owners in your team

Essential Skills:
· Experience of managing multi-disciplinary teams, in a fast paced environment
· Experience of designing, delivering and owning data services in complex, or large-scale digital environments
· Ability to build strong networks and partnerships
· Experience in an agile service delivery environment
· Experience of defining business goals and managing priorities
