About the Client:
A very modern, fantastic looking facility. High end equipment and up-to-date technologies. A vibrant environment, located in the heart of Edinburgh, EH7 6BP. Catering for up to 60 service users, along with a large work force dedicated to providing the highest standard of care.

Your Opportunity:
ASA recruitment are currently looking for catering assistants around Edinburgh to work within care homes providing a vital service to the elderly residents, their guests and the staff members. You will be expected to help around the kitchen preparing meals and keeping equipment, surfaces and kitchen appliances clean whilst also serving the residents there food.

Our ideal candidate will be a great self-motivator capable of grabbing the day and doing everything they are tasked with to best of their ability. Great time management is a must along with the ability to communicate clearly. Being proactive around the kitchen at all times whilst still adhering to health and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include:
· Helping with the preparation and distribution of food.
· Making sure the kitchen is up to par with hygiene policies at all times
· Using all kitchen equipment safely.
· Observe and comply with Health and Safety, hygiene and food safety regulations and report any incidents to the relevant team member.

Requirements:
A PVG for adults is required for this role.
