Database Development Manager

Description

Our well known public sector client is looking for a Database Development Manager to support the delivery of a new strategy for an initial 6 month contract in Edinburgh.

Responsibilities:
· Engage with staff across the organisation to establish specific technical requirements for requested and agreed application projects
· Provide integration between Planning, Finance and HR Systems where possible
· Develop a corporate performance dashboard
· Review and enhance the current risk management system
· Support ongoing business intelligence activity and expansion of Microsoft Dynamics instances
· Project manage all instance development from scoping through to testing and delivery with the organisations CRM development partner
· Continue the Development of the intelligence dashboard

Requirements:
· Excellent understanding of Dynamics CRM
· Excellent understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and MS Internet Information Services – Visual Studio
Working knowledge of the following:
· T-SQL, C# (.NET and .NET Core), HTML, XML, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, JavaScript
· MVC
· Object relational mapping (ORM), predominantly Entity Framework
· JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, Angular, Node.js
· Responsive web design
· CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap, Flexbox and CSS Grid

Desirable knowledge of:
· Telerik MVC web controls suite
· Microsoft Azure and cloud-based computing
· Microsoft Power Apps, Office 365 and Dynamics online
