Internal Auditor

Are you an experienced Internal Auditor? Do you want to work for a well-known public sector organisation in central Edinburgh?

ASA are looking for an Internal Auditor to plan and carry out internal audit work effectively and efficiently in accordance with the company standards.

Key responsibilities:

· Lead the day to day provision of audit services
· Undertake controls testing without supervision
· Carry out specific audits across various services
· Produce meaningful and practical audit reports at the conclusion of each review
· Interview staff at all levels to obtain detailed knowledge of the systems and processes under review
· Make effective recommendations

Requirements:

· Experience in a similar internal audit position
· An internal audit qualification (or professional equivalent)
· ICT knowledge
· Experience of carrying out reviews with the minimum of supervision
· Public sector experience
· A Basic Disclosure certificate
