School Cleaner

Description

ASA Recruitment are urgently looking for a number of School Cleaners to work within the West of Edinburgh (Carrick Knowe, Corstorphine, Clermiston, East Craigs) and surrounding areas in this part of the city.

Hours of work would be 3pm-6pm Monday to Friday and would be ideal for applicants who are looking to pick up a few extra hours, a part time job or something to keep them busy in the late afternoon.

As a School Cleaner working with ASA Recruitment you will require:

• A full PVG (updates cost £18) or be willing to apply for disclosure (full PVG costs £59)
• Cleaning experience within the same type of role
• Two business references (relevant to the job role)
• Availability from Monday to Friday (overtime available)

Successful Cleaning candidates will:

• Ensure each premises is thoroughly cleaned by (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, etc.)
• Use your knowledge of cleaning with chemicals and supplies
• Handle cleaning equipment and machinery
• Be observant and report any damage or issues you come across while carrying out your duties.

Joining ASA will grant you access to our online portal which allows you to update your availability and view your work schedules at your own leisure, it will also entitle you to holiday pay which is accrued hourly and can be taken whenever you wish. Furthermore, an induction will be given to you by handover staff or the site manager at every new site you attend.
