Senior Policy Manager

Are you a Policy Manager with experience of working on regulations and available for a 6 month contract in Edinburgh?

We have an exciting Senior Policy Manager contract available to work with a high profile public sector organisation in central Edinburgh. You will be working with solicitors in relation to various tribunal transfers.

Responsibilities:

· Draft policy instructions, consultation documents
· Develop key relationships with stakeholders
· Work collaboratively with solicitors and policy leads
· Attend various project implementation groups

Requirements:

· Experience of working with regulations or other legislation
· Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills – proven ability to develop and maintain networks and relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including engaging confidently with those at a senior level.
· The ability to analyse information from a range of sources and provide concise, well-structured advice
· Self- starter with strong planning and organisational skills, able to manage their own workload, prioritising effectively, dealing with competing demands
· A legal qualification would be advantageous
· A Basic Disclosure certificate
