Junior Desktop Analyst

ASA are working with a large public sector client based in Greater Glasgow who are looking to recruit a Junior Desktop Analyst on an initial 6 month placement.

The Junior Desktop Analyst Role:

• The first point of contact for all support calls, incidents and service requests
• Undertake account management tasks such as: Resetting passwords and unlocking, creating and deleting accounts
• Assisting in the creating of user friendly documentation
• Conducting diagnosis and troubleshooting of any incidents, problems and service requests
• Undertake hardware and software install ensuring that all documented procedures are adhered to
• Assist in major technology roll-outs

Successful candidates for the Junior Desktop Analyst role will require:

• Degree/HND in IT or experience in an associated IT discipline
• Professional or equivalent certified training in Microsoft Desktop operating systems, or Microsoft applications or HP/Dell/Lexmark hardware certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to liaise effectively with Senior Internal Managers and Senior External Manager is essential
• Full clean driving licence and access to own transport
