ASA are looking for an Intelligence Analyst to join the public sector in Central Scotland. This contract opportunity would be perfect for an individual looking to take the lead on an international initiative programme.

The Intelligence Analyst Role:

• Gather data and actionable intelligence of criminal activity within Global trade routes.
• Analysing intelligence to identify and the scale and impact of emerging international criminal trends within the clients specialised area.
• Produce strategic intelligence reports containing actionable plans, proposing intervention procedures and coordinating interventions where required.

Successful candidates for the Intelligence Analyst role will require:

• Specialist knowledge and skills in intelligence handling and analysis.
• Broad understanding of key environmental legislation and the main legislation affecting the retention and disclosure of intelligence.
• A strong communicator that can partner with other teams to develop a strong framework of connections and stakeholders with experience of producing tactical assessments and problem profiles.
• The ability to take ownership with a hands on approach that delivers the core business needs of the client.
