Description

Are you an experienced, motivated Nursing and Care Team Coordinator? Do you have the ability to multi-task and ensure all deadlines and successfully met?

ASA Recruitment are currently working alongside a well-known and prestigious public sector body who are looking for a knowledgeable Nursing and Care Coordinator to join their team.

Nursing and Care Team Coordinator main duties are:

  • To provide administrative, secretarial support and diary management for the Head of Clinical Governance and Quality Improvement and Deputy Director of Nursing and Care.
  • To manage appointments, schedule meetings, issue papers, agendas, and take formal minutes which will be published and made available.
  • Support project management activities, preparation of agenda, collating and distribution of reports, attendance and participation at meetings, high level and accurate formal minute taking, recording and following up on action points, maintaining plans and risk and issue registers.
  • Support, plan and manage all cross-cover arrangements for the administrative functions of all elements of the Nursing and Care Directorate during times of high capacity, reporting any issues or shortfalls to the Head of Clinical Governance and Quality Improvement.
  • Generate Purchase Orders and processing invoices to assist in the control of associated Departmental budgets and processing financial information.

Nursing and Care Team Coordinator requirements:

  • Relevant HNC qualification and/or equivalent work related experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) and an all-round professional attitude, especially with deadlines and conflicting interests.
  • General Administrative experience within an office environment.
  • Relevant experience within health care environment.
  • Excellent IT skills to include knowledge and practical application of MS Office and the use of databases and spreadsheets, Strong planning and organisational skills, to schedule meetings, issue papers and agenda, and take and circulate formal minutes.
