Solderer/Reworker SMT

Description

We are currently recruiting for one of the leaders in the financial technology market and looking for experienced Surface Mount solderers/re-workers to work with our client in Dalgety Bay, Fife.
The purpose of the role is to carry out diagnosis and repair to electronic systems. You would play a key part in the warranty and service once issues are highlighted. You would be responsible for ensuring units reach customers in pristine condition and on time.

Key responsibilities of Soldering Technicians:

* Mechanical assembly of products
* Soldering, crimping, wiring
* Building product to a very high standard
* In process inspection of units
* Liaise with Production team leader on issues
* Completing all documentation
* Work to all quality procedures
* Meeting daily/weekly targets

Skills and requirements for Solderers/re-workers SMT role:

* Minimum of 1 year surface mount soldering experience
* Ability to work on own with limited supervision
* Ability to interpret written and verbal instructions
* Can work with your hands and have good manual dexterity
* Microsoft office knowledge desirable but not essential
