Residential Child Care Worker
Are you an experienced Children’s Residential Support Worker? Do you enjoy supporting and working with children and young people? We are looking for dynamic and experienced Children’s Residential Support Workers to work within residential homes throughout Fife

You will be working at various children’s residential homes where you will offer support and development to young people who have challenging behavior’s and complex needs. Though the role is challenging it is rewarding due to the difference that you will make to young people’s lives.
Job involves:
* setting and maintaining standards of care and demonstrating the values and standards set out in accordance with The Code of Practice of the Scottish Social Services Council
* developing and implementing strategies to assist young people to develop positive relationships along with the promotion of a child centred approach, which puts the child at the centre of all our working practices
* De-escalating and managing challenging behaviour
*Providing positive and nurturing experiences for young people enabling them to develop their skills and achieve their potential. Working with them to enable them to take and manage appropriate risks
You will have:
* experience of working with young people
* willingness to work above and beyond to maintain our high standards
* existing PVG member, update required at a cost to yourself
* SSSC registration, including the SSSC registration qualification for the appropriate part of the register (HNC Social Services SCQF7 and SVQ 3, Social Services Children and Young People SCQF 7 or equivalent). If you do not have this qualification you must attain this within your first period of registration.

Excellent rates of pay (£10.57 – £16.20 per hour), paid weekly.
