ASA Recruitment are currently looking for a talented chef for a catering job in Ayr
We are looking for a Cook with a strong background of working in contract catering or education units.

A strong background in cooking & baking using fresh ingredients is essential
Your main responsibilities will include: food preparation, to cook and serve both hot and cold food to meet the units menu requirements, keeping the Kitchen clean and tidy and adhering to HACCP guidelines.
All applicants should have:

– At least 6 months UK experience in a similar role.
– Svq Level 2 or equivalent qualification
– A good work ethic, with clean and tidy presentation and work in a clean as you go manner.
– A good knowledge of HACCP and COSHH practices.
– Food hygiene certificate essential.
– Full driving licence preferred due to locations.
