Care Assistant

We are currently looking for experienced, passionate and enthusiastic Care and Support Assistants to join us at ASA Recruitment to work within our client’s establishments in and around Aberdeen City.

Key responsibilities of a Care and Support Assistant:

• Promote independence, dignity and choice whilst supporting with person centred care
• Provide emotional and social support
• Developing real life skills with the people we support
• Providing quality personal care, which could include bathing etc. depending on individual needs, while maintaining respect and sensitivity
• Supporting with household tasks, which include cleaning, cooking, ironing, washing etc. while encouraging the people you support to participate

Care and Support Assistant requirements:

• Must have a minimum of SVQ Level 2 or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 months UK experience as a Care or Support Assistant
• PVG member, update required at a cost to yourself (£18 for existing PVG scheme members)
• SSSC registration or 6 months to register from date of employment
• Willingness to work above and beyond to maintain our high standards

In return we are offering:

• Support from an ASA Consultant from 7am until 10pm, 7 days a week.
• Excellent rates of pay (£10.04 to £14.06 per hour), paid weekly.
