Credit Controller

Description

ASA are delighted to be working alongside a large organisation based within Glasgow City Centre. Our client is looking to bring an experienced Credit Controller into their team. The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills, commitment and a positive attitude. This opportunity offers the chance for someone with some credit control or collections experience to gain further exposure and potentially step into a more senior position in the future.

The role:
– Chasing payments via telephone, email and letter
– Managing a larger debtor ledger
– Reporting on debts and recovery
– Meeting set KPIs
– Reducing the debtor ledger to agreed targets
– Delivering a customer focussed, pro-active service
– Actively managing customers to optimise collections
– Ensuring weekly reminder letters are sent and collate figures for weekly meetings
– Following month end procedures

The person:
– Some experience in a role focused on or involving credit control
– The ability to deal with queries effectively
– Strong attention to detail
– A proactive and resilient attitude
– An organised and methodical approach to problems
– The ability to work to set deadlines and prioritise workloads

This role is demanding but offers the opportunity for someone with the relevant experience to take on further responsibility and grow professionally. The successful candidate will demonstrate their previous experience and also their desire to progress.

In return this global reaching organisation are offering a competitive salary between £18,000 and £23,000 dependent on experience along with a number of fantastic perks including flexible working and generous holidays.
