JAMF Engineer

Description

Our agency is currently seeking a proficient JAMF Engineer to fulfil a vital role for our prominent public sector client. This position involves managing and enhancing the JAMF Pro platform to ensure efficient administration and security of their expanding MAC book estate.

The Role:
The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Digital Office to review and refine the existing JAMF Pro implementation. Collaborating with the internal team and security analysts, the JAMF Engineer will focus on developing and documenting the platform to establish necessary controls and practices essential for efficient MAC book estate management. This engagement will significantly contribute to shaping the future management strategies for our client’s JAMF platform.

Requirements:
· Certified JAMF Pro or equivalent expertise.
· Demonstrable experience in deploying JAMF Pro in an Enterprise environment.
· Profound skills in MacOS administration, specifically in Big Sur and Catalina.
· Proven track record in Apple scripting.
· Expertise in maintaining a secure device configuration.
· Experience in knowledge transfer and comprehensive documentation.

Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with the Chief Digital Office to evaluate and improve the existing JAMF Pro implementation.
· Work alongside internal teams and security analysts to devise and document platform controls and practices for efficient MAC book estate management.
· Contribute significantly to shaping the future strategies for managing the JAMF platform.
· Deploy secure device configurations and maintain their integrity.
· Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and create comprehensive documentation.

Package on Offer:
· Inside IR35.
· Initial contract until March 2024 with the possibility of extending further.
· Hybrid working in Glasgow or Edinburgh.
