ASA Recruitment is looking for senior interaction designer for our public sector client!

The role
As an interaction designer, you work out the best way to let users interact with services in both, overall flow and at the level of individual design elements.
You will join our growing user centred design team leading on users experience activities to deliver well-designed accessible and inclusive public services.

Responsibilities
· Use best practice/standards to design usable and access interactive services
· Work with researchers to gain a deep understanding of our users
· Identify, propose and evaluate design solutions
· Work with the technical team to promote an outcome-led approach to designing services that considers technical feasibility
· Develop and verify a variety of static and dynamic prototypes to effectively test and convey concepts with confidence. Create prototypes at both low and high levels of detail, and leverage HTML and CSS for high-fidelity web-based prototypes when necessary

Requirements
· 2+ years in a digital service design setting
· Strong experience writing for the web with proven ability to plan and create accessible user-centred content
· Proven experience in using data and user feedback to define and refine content
· Experience negotiating and influencing stakeholders, building relationships, building relationship to understand complex language processes and user needs
· Have valid basic disclosure Scotland certificate
