Catering Assistant

ASA are currently looking for Catering Assistants to join our team for part time opportunities based in local schools to start from 30th October 2023.

The work involved covers Monday to Friday during term time and is always within school hours – perfect for those looking for work to suit around their children.

Positions currently available in the AB10, AB13, AB21, AB24 and AB25 postcode areas of Aberdeen and vacancies range from 10 hours per week up to 20 hours per week depending on location.

Our ideal candidate would have experience in a previous catering role, is reliable and hardworking with a bubbly personality that can build relationships with the other staff and pupils. You should be ready to get stuck in and be a great team player.

Responsibilities Include:
· Aspects of preparation to support the cooks
· Serving pupils to order in a timely manner
· Maintaining highest levels of food hygiene at all times
· Cleaning of any work spaces using correct products and following COSHH regulations
· Washing of any equipment, utensils and dishes as required

Requirements:
A PVG (police check) certificate for children is essential for this role therefore you must be willing to apply for a PVG or update an existing PVG prior to employment.
