Catering Assistant

ASA are currently looking for an experienced Catering Assistant to be based within a school in Aberdeen. This is initially a temporary position for 12 weeks with the client looking to make the position permanent for a successful candidate. The role is based just outside of Aberdeen city centre on a well serviced bus route. Shifts required are 11am-3pm Monday to Friday, term time only.

You will be responsible for cleaning of the kitchen areas and any dishes, utensils and equipment as well as supporting the wider kitchen team with any aspects of food preparation when needed. You may be required to serve hot food from a counter during lunch service times.

Our ideal candidate is someone who has existing catering experience – even better if school based. This is a fast paced environment and you should be comfortable working efficiently under pressure to get the job done. You should be an excellent team player and be able to follow instructions. We are looking for someone committed, hard working and reliable for this role. A PVG for children is required prior to employment.
