Care Assistant

Description

We are recruiting for dedicated and passionate Care Assistants to work within care homes in Kirkcaldy and Lochgelly areas and Glenrothes.

We aim to ensure we recruit the best carers we can find who will happily go the extra mile for the residents whether it be making the perfect cup of tea to providing personal care to get ready for the day ahead. Being a team player is highly important as well as working off your own initiative. Also no day will be the same so being able to adapt to a change in environment is a must.

This role will involve:
· Supporting residents and service users will all aspects of personal care.
· Safe use of moving and handling and all equipment
· Providing emotional and physical support within the service
· Encourage independence as much as possible.
· Support with any activities and encouraging service users to take part.

We can offer a wide variety of shifts 7 days per week between the hours of 7am and 10pm in a range of services across the whole of fife. No day at ASA Recruitment will be the same so you will be guaranteed to gain more experience within the care sector.

We do require the following:
· Previous paid care experience
· Right to work in the UK
· Knowledge of moving and handling regulations
