ASA are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for a chef on a permanent basis starting ASAP. The position is based in a popular sports and leisure club – a “hidden gem” in the West End of Aberdeen. The menu is filled with club favourites but also gives you the opportunity to show your talents through chef specials and function menus. This is a permanent position where the hours can vary each week depending on function bookings and requirements but will see you working generally no less than 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities;
· Full running and responsibility of the kitchen
· Working with and directing the Kitchen Porter while on shift
· Setting varied and creative chef specials
· Stock monitoring and kitchen orders
· Keeping hygiene standards to the highest level throughout the kitchen

Requirements:
· Existing chef experience (lone working experience beneficial)
· Own Food Hygiene and Allergens certificates
· Reliable and committed to the job
· Confident in the running of kitchen service

As the hours per week can vary depending on weekly requirements this is an hourly paid position with an hourly rate of £12 per hour. Working in this position you will become a key part of the team responsible for the clubs success.
