Do you have public sector Finance experience?
ASA Recruitment are working with Scotland’s largest public sector organisation to recruit a highly experienced Senior Finance Manager. This role is suitable for candidates based in Scotland’s Central Belt.
If you started in this role today you would…
- Lead and manage engagement from corporate finance perspective to ensure collaboration with projects to support financial information requirements prior to transferring products or services
- Provide scrutiny and constructive challenge to support robust financial forecasts for the live running of products and services
- Lead on the corporate finance governance process, and represent corporate finance at various governance boards to provide specialist advice
- Support various stakeholders across the organisation to identify finance gaps and evaluate inter-dependences, risks and impacts to then propose resolutions and escalate where required
So, what are we looking for?
- Professionally qualified accountant – CCAB/CIMA professional accountancy body or equivalent with up to date CPD
- Significant financial experience in a change environment
- Experience of working in a programme or project environment, within the public sector
- Experience of implementing and improving systems or processes and negotiating with stakeholders
