Are you looking for a new role to take on ASAP?

ASA are currently looking for Class 2 Drivers to join our team in Aberdeen to support one of our public sector clients based in Altens. The vacancy is based in the Waste and Recycling department and will see you responsible for the driving of refuse and recycling vehicles. Shift times are 0700-1500 Monday to Thursday and 0700-1430 Friday.

The successful applicant will;
· Deliver a high quality waste collection service for Aberdeen
· complete allocated daily routes and to supervise the crew allocated to the vehicle
· Take responsibility for allocated crew members for designated task
· Ensure the daily scheduled work is undertaken in a safe and efficient manner for own crew
· Perform duties in compliance with work instructions and road safety legislation

To be considered for this role you should have a good level of physical fitness as lifting/moving of heavy and awkward objects. We are looking for a confident team player and someone who can work well with others. Some essential requirements include;
· Full current UK Driving Licence
· Valid CPC Licence
· Drivers Qualification Card
· Digital Tachograph Card

In return ASA can offer you a standard pay rate of £12.27 per hour with additional overtime paid at £17.18 per hour as required. We can also offer you additionally accrued holiday pay from your very first shift.
