ASA are currently looking to support our public sector client in Aberdeen and are therefore recruiting for Loaders ASAP. You will be part of the Waste and Recycling team based in Altens with working hours of 0700-1500 Monday to Thursday and 0700-1430 Friday.

Responsibilities include;
· Emptying various types of waste containers on allocated daily collection routes
· Uplifting bulk items/white goods and assist with the clearance of void properties
· Ensuring that the daily scheduled work is undertaken in a safe and efficient manner
· Complying with all work instructions and Health and Safety procedures
· Ensuring a high level of customer care is provided
· Reporting any defect to bins/equipment
· Providing Banksman support to the driver when the vehicle is reversing or adjusting its position in tight spaces

Applicants should have strong communication skills and an understanding of Health and Safety and safe working practices. You should have a can do attitude and be focused on the task at hand while working individually and as a team. A good level of physical fitness is also required for this job.

ASA can offer you;
· £11.56 per hour standard pay rate
· £17.34 per hour overtime rate
· Additionally accrued holiday pay from your first shift
