ASA are delighted to be recruiting for a talented Head Chef on behalf of our client to work at one of their high end venues in the Ballater area of Aberdeenshire. This permanent vacancy will see you working in one of Royal Deeside’s most valued cafe venues at the heart of the community. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about showcasing the best in Scottish produce and developing in their career.

What’s involved?
· Planning, preparing, cooking and presenting food to the standards required
· Enhancing the company’s reputation for excellent food and service
· Controlling portion size and monitoring waste
· Maintaining records relating to food production activities and supplier information
· Ensuring Health and Safety and Food Safety Standards are maintained
· Assessing employee performance and recognising training needs as appropriate

What’s required?
· A clear and genuine passion for food
· NVQ qualification or equivalent
· Successful progressive background in catering
· Basic and Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate
· Strong Supervisory experience
