Catering Assistant

ASA Recruitment currently have some amazing opportunities for experienced catering assistants in Glenrothes and its surrounding areas.

These positions will be working in local authority schools or care homes.

You will be expected to be hard working, reliable and be able to use your own initiative as these positions will be working in a fast paced and busy kitchen.

Responsibilities include:
· Helping with the preparation and distribution of food.
· Making sure that all kitchen equipment, surfaces, and appliances are clean.
· To be able to use all kitchen equipment and appliances safely.
· Be health and safety aware, and comply with all hygiene and food regulations.
· Set a good example in regards to dress, hygiene, behaviour, and safety awareness.
· Administrative duties including taking deliveries, safety inspections, and maintenance.

Requirements to be considered:
· PVG member or the willingness to apply.
· Food hygiene certificate.
· 6 months UK experience.
· Maintain confidentiality.

· Salary starting from £10.90 per hour.
· On-call service available 7 days a week with a dedicated consultant.
