Care at Home Worker

ASA are currently looking for Care at Home workers with driving licence and access to own vehicle to support one of our long term clients in Aberdeen. Care at Home workers offer varying levels of support to residents in their home on a route basis. You will follow a plan and visit different individuals during your shift across Aberdeen. Visits will generally be in the same surrounding area of Aberdeen but driving licence and own vehicle are essential – this role is not suitable for non-drivers.

Responsibilities;
· Providing varying levels of care depending on individual care plans and requirements
· Offering support with domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning where required
· Acting as a companion in emotional and physical support
· Support with medication

Requirements;
· Minimum of 6 months UK work experience in a similar role
· Driving licence and access to own vehicle
· Passion for working with others and improving their quality of life
· Ability to work on a 1-1 basis while sticking to a routine schedule
· Willingness to apply for PVG or update an existing certificate prior to employment

We provide classroom training delivered by our experienced and dedicated training team so you can have the very best knowledge and practice of the industry. ASA pay weekly and for this position of a Care at Home Worker we can offer you payment for your full shift, not just contact time varying from £12.27 per hour for a week day and £17.18 per hour for a weekend as well as mileage while on shift.
