Description

Our client is a family owned Scottish construction company based in Perthshire, who are expanding and currently looking for a General Works Supervisor to join their General Works Department.

The role is to assist with achieving the companies objectives by performing and being responsible for the following tasks within the general works department:

Communicating with homeowners/clients to report on progress etc
Preparing a programme based on the agreed scope of works
Checking and reporting on the suitability of the scope of works
Interpreting drawings and distributing to sub-contractors
Preparing/checking all Health & Safety paperwork and distributing to relevant parties
Organising all labour, plant and materials
Site set-up
Carrying out site visits to check on progress, quality and health & safety
Attending meetings with clients and sub-contractors as required
Checking work on completion and signing off
50/50 split of Head Office in Perthshire and site work so travel is essential
