Project Engineer

What you would be doing:

• Responsible for all aspects of a project – project management, client liaison, design, build, test, training and documentation – ensuring projects are delivered to meet agreed timescales and costs
• Fault finding and repair of failed equipment and systems down to Line Replaceable Unit (LRU)
• Installation, commissioning and routine maintenance of meteorological systems in UK and overseas as required
• Troubleshooting faults in systems and giving backup to engineers while working on site
• Supplier liaison for purchasing of equipment and supplies as well as participation quoting/tendering process

What you need to succeed:

• Hardworking, conscientious attitude with a willingness to learn
• Ability to work as part of a busy team as well as individually
• Willingness to be 100% office based and also to travel to visit clients on site
