Catering assistants required for schools within Fife, ASA are currently looking for catering assistants and have some great opportunities available for you, with that comes weekly income. Our catering team play a crucial role in our operations, Working in a busy fast pace working environment supporting the head chef and other kitchen staff whilst keeping a smoothly run clean kitchen.

Areas and shift times
Cupar 8.00-14.00
St Andrews 10.00 – 14.00
Anstruther 10.45 – 14.15 or 12.00 – 14.00
Kennoway 12.00 – 14.00
Methil 12.00 – 14.00

Catering Assistant requirements – Essential

* Cash handling skills
* Have good literacy and numeracy skills
* Be a good team player
* Ability to provide a regular and effective service
* PVG member – application can be done through ASA at a cost to yourself
* Ability to travel throughout Fife

Catering Assistant requirements – Desirable

* Understanding of working in a catering environment
* Understanding dietary and nutritional needs
* Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate
* Manual Handling Awareness
* Have good customer care, communication and organisational skills
* Understanding of health and safety requirements
* Understanding of HACCP procedures
