ASA Recruitment are working with a Scottish academic organisation to recruit a Business Development Manager to work on an exciting hydrogen energy project. This contract role is suitable for candidates based in Scotland’s Central Belt.

If you started in this role today you would be…

• Identifying opportunities to develop and deliver specific projects to enhance relationships and generate income from industry
• Establishing links to companies which represent longer term opportunities for significant, company funded collaborative projects.
• Promoting the institution’s capabilities within energy and identifying new opportunities in order to maintain and enhance relationships with Scottish, UK and International companies
• Stimulating market demand among Scottish, UK & International companies for partner services such as the commissioning of research, post graduate studentships, access to facilities, consultancy etc

So, what are we looking for?

• Proven experience and knowledge of sustainable or renewable energy
• Business development experience
• Ability to develop effective long term working relationships
• Experience in a higher education environment would be advantageous
