Experienced DevOps Engineer looking for a new role?

ASA Recruitment are looking for an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to support a branch of Scotland’s largest public sector client. This role is suitable for candidates based in Scotland’s Central Belt.

If you started in this role today you would…

• Provide technical leadership, mentorship and delivery capability to an established team tasked with building a new platform to meet legislative and long-term business needs
• The specialist will be expected to be embedded into a current delivery team and will lead a small team
• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure

So, what are we looking for?

• Must have active SC Clearance
• Technical knowledge of Best Practice secure infrastructure, AWS and tooling, networking, Linux (CentOS or RHEL), Automation Tooling (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform etc), Monitoring & Alerting
• Ability to translate technical concepts between infrastructure, delivery management and service management so they are easily understood by all
• Able to make decisions characterised by managed levels of risk and complexity and recommend decisions as risk and complexity increase
