At ASA we are currently working with a number of clients in Banchory, Aberdeenshire and are looking for experienced Care and Support Workers to support their requirements. Although each day will be different, you will always be making a positive difference to the lives of those you are working with. Some responsibilities of the role include;

• Support residents in living their lives to the fullest
• Participate in household tasks with those you are supporting where required
• Provide personal care as per individual care plans
• Offer assistance in all aspects in daily life while encouraging as much independence as possible
• Mobility assistance with use of manual handling equipment when required

Working with ASA is very flexible to what works best for you with a unique online system to manage your own diary. As well as flexibility, ASA can offer competitive rates of pay ranging from £11 for week day shifts to £15.98 per hour for nights and weekends, paid weekly. Our online system gives you easy access to all the information you need for shifts and support is available from your consultant 7 days a week.

Care and Support Workers can come from all sorts of backgrounds and be successful in their role, for this position you should;

• Have 6 months UK care experience within Healthcare
• Have a caring and compassionate personality while being reliable, patient and understanding
• Be willing to obtain a PVG if not already held or update existing PVG
• Be willing to register with SSSC within 6 months of employment
• Work confidentially individually as well as with others
