ASA Recruitment are looking to recruit a Principal Mechanical Engineer for a Contractor position based in Aberdeen within the ever expanding and exciting Energy Sector.

We have an exciting opportunity working within both new and existing projects, creating bespoke, safe and cost-effective engineering solutions for our clients within the energy sector.
You will be responsible for
Identify the scope of work required
Input to project plans
Identify areas of concern during any project or study
Produce cost- effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value
Ability to address operational and maintenance issues in the design and liaise with colleagues for the best solution
Undertake surveys, both onshore and offshore
Exercise technical authority and autonomy in all engineering activities
What you’ll need to succeed
· BSc or equivalent in relevant Engineering Discipline
· Demonstrable knowledge of relevant Oil & Gas Industry Codes and Standards
· Understanding of the application of Autodesk Design products
· Reasonable understanding of all Engineering disciplines
· Survival BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS
· Competent in the use of MS Office applications
