Are you well versed in Cyber Security?

ASA Recruitment are working with Scotland’s largest public sector client to recruit an experienced Head of IT Security to oversee the cyber security of one of its key divisions. This role is suitable for candidates based in Scotland’s Central Belt.

THIS ROLE SITS OUTSIDE IR35

If you started in this role today you would…

• Develop overall security management approach and cyber security approach
• Oversee and coordinate requirements for and scope of IT Health Checks, managing the resulting remediating controls for the business and Accreditor
• Influence the business on ICT innovation, ensuring that National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) security guidelines are followed and accounted for at all times
• Provide direction and advice in technical projects to implement or enhance security enforcing functions or capabilities within divisional services

So, what are we looking for?

• Relevant qualifications in security management, enterprise architecture and ITIL
• Experience of enterprise and solution architecture methodologies and cyber security policies
• Experience of implementing security risk management approaches. e.g. HMG Accreditation/ISO27001
• Broad and deep technical knowledge covering application, data, technology and security domains
• Full SC Clearance will be required
