Janitor

Description

Our client in Aberdeen are looking to recruit Janitors for various sites throughout the city on an initial 6-8 week placement. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out janitorial duties to expected standards of the client including opening and closing of buildings and ensuring work areas are left in a safe and secure manner.

Main Duties of the Role

• Ensure only authorised and approved cleaning materials are used in line with current procedures
• Carry out all required janitorial duties
• Check, use, maintain and report defects for all equipment used

Role specific skills and competencies required

• Appropriate level of health and fitness to carry out the tasks of the job
• Competency in the use of all equipment issued
• Competency in the use of all cleaning products used

What you will need to succeed

• Contribute to a team ethic
• Communicate effectively
• Apply and develop skills to achieve results

The successful candidate must have a PVG (Children’s) in place prior to commencement of placement and be willing to go through the process of application.
