Laundry Assistant

ASA Recruitment are recruiting for Laundry Assistants based in Wishaw for a prestigious public sector client

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

· Categorising dirty linen received from other sites in surrounding areas
· Feeding work to and unloading work from ironing and folding equipment
· Packing and Folding linen items
· Cleaning equipment and laundry at site
· Pushing & Pulling cages of Linen

Essential Skills

· Effective written and verbal communication
· Working effectively within a team
· Physically demanding job – involves constant standing & lifting for the work day
· Ability to work quickly within a busy environment

Desirable Skills

· Previous experience of working within a laundry environment would be preferred
· Working knowledge information technology

This would involve working within multiple shift patterns such as day shifts, back shifts & night shifts
