Excellent rates of pay starting from £11.50 p/hour depending on shift pattern
Mileage paid at 35p per mile

ASA are looking to appoint Care Practitioners in Alloa to work in a supported living facility for complex care tenants.

About You:

You should have an SVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care. We’ll also need to see that you have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We’re looking for people who are warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support.
6 months UK work experience required.

Role Purpose:

· To plan, implement and supervise the provision of quality care, in conjunction with Residents.
· To ensure Residents retain their dignity and individuality.
· To support the needs of Complex care tenants that may include advanced dementia, mental health and palliative care.
· To maintain a safe and secure environment for Residents, Staff Members and Visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

· Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting/assisting Residents, when required, with all aspects of daily living.
· Assist Residents in all aspects of their care needs (e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual). Provide supervision and attention when needed, ensuring Residents retain their comfort and dignity.
· Carry out regular checks on Residents at intervals determined by senior Staff Members.
· Dispense medication, and ensure correct recording of all relevant information relating to medication
