Social Worker

Description

ASA are recruiting for Social Workers passionate about working within adult care and learning disabilities. We have vacancies in Banff, Fraserburgh and Peterhead with immediate start. All three roles are 36.25 hours per week and are based within adult care.

Applicants should have experience working in social work community-based settings and directly with service users in crisis, their families and carers. Experience in undertaking social work assessments and risk assessments is required. You should be a team player and be able to communicate both verbally and in writing, with a range of individuals including service users and other professionals. Your skills must also cover administrative qualities, IT, numeracy, organisation and time management.

Essential Requirements:
· BA Honours Degree in Social Work, Dip SW or equivalent
· SSSC Registration and PVG for Adults
· Adult Support and Protection training up to level 4 (or be willing to undertake)
· Full driving licence and access to own vehicle (mileage paid)

Desired Requirements:
· Specialist experience / qualification working with adults with learning difficulties or autistic spectrum disorders

This role has a competitive salary starting from £37,263. ASA can offer consultants available 7 days per week to support you through the whole employment process and beyond.
