ASA are recruiting for Support Workers in Inverurie that are passionate about working to improve the lives of others. Our client in Inverurie is a well-known charity that provide person-centred support plans tailored to each individual while recognising their personal needs and interests. Shifts are available at five different locations within the town including within housing support, respite service and day service. This allows for flexible shifts that vary from a couple of hours in the morning to full 12 hour shifts available week days and weekends. SVQ 2 or 3 would be beneficial for medication requirements while lone working. Experience working with epilepsy is also beneficial.

As a Support Worker you will;

• Offer assistance with day to day tasks such as washing, dressing, personal hygiene
• Be present at mealtimes and assist with any meal preparation required
• Get involved with a wide range of activities on offer to engage the service users
• Accompany service users out into the community and to recreational activities
• Build strong, trusting relationships with the residents and their families
• Provide companionship and emotional support for the individual(s) each day

To apply for the role you should be;

• Willing to apply for PVG certificate or update
• Willing to join SSSC within 6 months of employment if not already a member
• Able to provide 2 references for your past work experience
• Able and willing to travel to work in Inverurie
• Reliable and hardworking even when working on a 1-1 basis

• Weekly pay from £9.90 to £11.50 per hour paid weekly
