About the Client:
ASA have an opportunity for experienced catering assistants to join our growing team working within local authority schools.

Your Opportunity:
These positions are scheduled to start following the school holidays 23rd August 2022. There are various locations available including in AB15, AB16, AB10 and AB24 areas with hours ranging from 10 to 25 hours per week. As a catering assistant you will support the chef and the rest of the kitchen team in the preparation and serving of meals to staff and pupils.

Our ideal candidate is hardworking with a bubbly personality and can build relationships with the other staff and pupils. You should be ready to get stuck in and be a great team player.

Responsibilities Include:
· Working as a key part of the kitchen team.
· Serving pupils and staff to order in a timely manner.
· Supporting with prep of meals.
· Tidying of any work spaces and lunch hall using correct products and following food hygiene and COSHH regulations.
· Offering high levels of customer service while on shift.

Requirements:
A PVG certificate for children is essential for this role and you must be willing to obtain prior to employment if not already held. You must be confident in your work with ability to work individually as part of a team.
